Three months of research at the French School in Rome
Dr. Núñez Bargueño begins a 3 month visiting research stay at the Ecole Française de Rome, where among other things she will advance research in the Roman archives (Archivio Storico della Segreteria di Stato, Archivio Apostolico Vaticano, Archivio Storico di Propaganda Fide et Archivio del Dicastero per la Dottrina della Fede).
At the EFR she has also co-organised a session of the seminar Les archives du pontificat de Pie XII : recherches en cours entitled “A Woman’s Proper Place”? The Evolution of the Role and Agency of Lay Women in Religious, Social and Political Life during Pius XII Pontificate”. The session will take place on Thursday 23rd of January 2025 on a hybrid format (online and in person).
